the banner adds, the music & sound fx are annoying a typical 10 min game

There is a large advertisement on the bottom offering you to download their iPhone/iPad app but still its really fun! Shooting is hard as I didnt get one in but I guess thats the point.

It looks like an iPod Touch game on a Mac.. Oh wait it is! Like seriously, does the Mac really need all these apps from the iPod? It is a great move by Apple and will make tons of profit, but it seems that iPod apps are coming literrally "back to the Mac". I dont think there should be iPod games on a Mac, unless they are actually changed to BE an OSX app. That includes massively huge buttons, and icons that come directly from the iPod interface. Catch my drift?

Its an ok game, but it uses cheap garageband loops for its music at the main menu. I should know because I did the exact same thing, (with the exact same tune!) the second I first fired up garageband. I know that games arent usually bought for the background music, but come on... Also, the learning curve is a little steep for a casual basketball game (controlling the speed and direction of the shots is harder than it should be). 4/5 for me *keep in mind that its free though

This was the first app that I donwlaoded on the Mac App Store and it doesnt work at all on my iMac. It blows up every time I lauch it. :(

Fun app. Can spend all day on it, trying to beat myself. Awesome.

For the reviews that say the game is too hard, its because the game was not meant to be easy. Shooting a basketball takes skill, and with each shot you have to angle it well in order to score. I would pay 99c for this app if it had more features, like top scores, etc, maybe multiplayer for the showdown option? Great App! I play it all the time when Im bored and looking to kill time inbetween classes at University. PS. my high score in showdown is 141 :)

This is a fun free game, that takes a while to learn but is great for passing time.

Its not worth downloading at all because it doesnt work AT ALL!!! (i dont know why other people say it works fine)

It doesnt save your music preference. It also doesnt have a top 10 for high-scores or as soon as you set one during countdown. Good mechanics, extra features need to be there

Besides it being a very basic game and not indepth at all, the main reason im writing this is because when I select to play as fullscreen right before the blue NO2 credit screen comes up a bunch of pitcures are flashed for a split second. I took a picture using command shift 3 and saw that it was random photos from my iphoto albums and to make it worse they were ones i had selected as hidden! How does a app thats approved by apple have the ability to access my photos and hidden ones at that? This concerns me very much and I wondering if anyone else had this issue?

Theres no real challenge. Also, I find it hard to control using trackpad-Id rather use the keyboard.

This is good for a free game. The controls are a little strange, the design is good and the sound is decent. Overall, Basketmania is a fun game for a few minutes. What this game needs is more depth of gameplay and more forgiveness in the basketball hoop.

I dont know exactly what it is about this game, but it is awesome. The graphics are perfect and the realisticness of it is great. It honestly feels like you are shooting a basketball at a real net, this is not a game that feels fake and non-realistic. The game is addicing and defintately worth a download, and you can help but try it out since its free!

This game actually got too easy.. ended up playing 1 game for like half hour. The earlier version was more challenging. The rim in this one is way too forgiving.

best game ever

This game is so realistic, sound great, nice graphics, no lags, and just fun. Maybe couldve enhanced it better by more options for it but otherwise spectacular.

Really good game for a break, fast and light.
